[USFT] Women's Working Group/International Delegation

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to send a few updates your way reguarding 
the USFT Women's working group...

The Women's working group was launched at the 2005 
convergence.  It strives to empower women to take 
leadership roles within USFT and to link movements to 
empower women across boarders; USFT participants can learn 
from women who have organized women's fair trade 
cooperatives in other countries.

We are currently working on organizing a women's 
delegation to Chiapas that will take place in June 2005 
with the Mexico Solidarity Network.  This delegation works 
to develope USFT's women's leadership.  The delgation will 
be 8 days long out of San Cristobal, Chiapas, Mexico and 
will happen in late June.

Our next conference call will take place on Sunday March 
7th at 6:30/9:30 pm PST/EST.  We will discuss both the 
delegation and other women's initiatives.  Please join us
