United Students for Fair Trade: Northeast Edition!

Welcome everyone to the Northeast page for United Students for Fair Trade! My name is Jacqueline and maybe I welcome you and may I thank you for your interest in USFT! I think it’s an awesome organization and I hope you all agree!
The Northeast is one of the most active regions in the country for international progression and policies…hey we do have the United Nations! So Northeastians lets show the world what we are made of!

Fair trade is something I feel is so important to the successful progression of the global economy and humanitarian policies. All humans deserve equal opportunities for fair wages, working and living conditions as well as the ability to pursue their own happiness in ways that they enjoy. United Students for Fair Trade, The Fair Trade Federation and many more organizations are working towards the global change to all items being bought, produced and purchased using fair trade.

USFT is an anti-oppressive student run organization that values principles of “Fair Trade as a piece of the global justice movement that seeks to empower producer communities, activists, and consumers and radically redefine power structures through people-centered, democratic trading alternatives.”
