Thank you to everyone who helped making the Strengthening the Roots conference in DC a success.  I really appreciate all the awesome energy, ideas and experience people brought.  The sense of community among participants was inspiring - and I hope that those ties will continue throughout the semester. 

 Of course - there is always room for improvement and I've already gotten a lot of great suggestions from folks on how to make the conference better in the future.   This was the first time we did a regional conference (and my first time spear-heading organizing a conference) so I really appreciate any feedback.
